Luxury Castle

Well I know I haven’t posted a blog in a while, but it wouldn’t have been a very good one, although I can’t really promise anything.

Anyways, I have been staying at a castle for the last few days, at it has been awesome, and it is not your standard castle that most of you guys a thinking of. It is nice a cozy and only contains a few ghosts. We have been given an entire wing to ourselves, which is amazing, because we have a bathroom to ourselves, which is nice, because then you can just leave your toothbrush out and other small luxuries like that. But the part that I love the most is the bathtub. It’s you classic Vitoria age bathtub (with pluming of course) that you just sink and you are never seen again. Probably the nicest bathtub that I have been in (besides my grandparents bathtub (a.k.a. the ocean)).

The people a very nice and there are these Mexicans that make very creative and wonderful suppers each night. Last night they made a wonderful chocolate cake, which is saying a ton because I am not much of a cake man.

But it has been great so far been playing with a two other kids which is a nice change because most of the time I am the youngest one.

But anyways I am having a very pleasant time and I will update you guys if anything exciting things happen.

Have a day great guys.

Edinburgh

Well I have learned that you don't ask a Scottish person where to go. For one they will probably say "ah it's just a wee walk down the road" and after you look it up on google maps you find out that it was a half hour walk. Also they don't understand that tourists want to see beautiful things not ugly 60s architecture. But if you ask any Scottish person they will say go to Glasgow "the place of concrete buildings" but then you'll ask about Endinburgh, and they'll say, "ach no Glasgow is much better " then you go to both and you see the gorgeous architecture of Edinburgh, and are like "yo dude, how you like that 60s cement blocks called buildings over this place of beauty?".

But anyways I went to Edinburgh this past weekend, and it was gorgeous. All stone buildings dating to as late as the 1550 (at least that is the oldest I saw, but outside of the city we ate at a 800 year old mill) and a quarter is pubs and another quarter is kilt shops and the rest is other things. We just walked around most of the time, although we did have a peek in the national museum of Scotland, and we went into the museum of People's Story, it is a small but informative place.

Anyways lets go to when I first got there. We got there somewhere around 8 at night and we found our hotel very simply and we got the cats in and all the things we needed up to our room and then we were off. I hadn't really eaten anything that day so we walked to the castle which was AMAZING and then we went to hunt for a cheapish place that was still open, because by that time it was 10ish. So after going past the ghost tour and telling my mom that no I would not walk it (I have an over reactive imagination) and passing a very friendly and seemingly sane beggar we found THE Kebab shop. And when I say THE I mean THE Kebab place. It tasted SOOOOOOO good. I mean "So good🎶🎶 so good" it was heavenly... No that is the wrong word, because whatever type of god(s) that is up there wouldn't be able to make something that good. It is like the ambrosia from the Greeks the apple from the garden of Eve, the spices from India, the size of a Texan meal, the delicacy of a French cuisine, and, and, I've ran out of things I could say.

The next few days included walking around and enjoying Edinburgh, we had a very kind man that did the night shift at our hotel and we enjoyed talking to him very much.

If you are ever going to Scotland go to Edinburgh, it's very pretty, and I am yet to have bad food there.

Have a great day!

WWOOF PARTY!!!!!!:)

Well on the weekend I went to the WWOOF 45th party. Which was really cool. It beat the thought that all british are old, wrinkled, and remaiber the good old days when they owned most of the world.

I met both hosts (people that have WWOOFers over) and also I met some people who ran the organisation in england, which was cool because I was able to see what problems that they encounter.

We stayed in an old school which is know used as a place for groups to come and meet and do outdoor activitys.

So we stayed in little bunk beds and were privided with food. The cooks were incredible, they cooked us all funky kinds of things. It is such a shame that they usually only cook for kids, because my generation (5-16) are so picky in what they eat. I didn't bother in the evening to go to the meetings, because they just rambled on about boring stuff.

The day after they took us to a small farm which was kinda boring because the guy was like "Me... Myself... and I..." it was kinda like, dude you see who you are talking to? Farmers who don't care about you, they want to see your micro farm. But then we went back to Scotland where we are staying at the moment.

I may blog about the time we had going and comming back from the party. Snce it was 5 hours each way.

Hope you didn't fall asleep while reading this blog. And HAVE A GREAT DAY!

OK guys. A couple days ago I went to the National Portrait Gallery, or as the tittle says, the Freak gallery.
